Weight loss is untracked between processes
Rough to polished involves loss at every stage. If it is recorded on paper, you cannot tell an acceptable yield from a leak. We capture weight in and weight out at every process with carat-level precision.
Job work leaves the building and disappears
Goods sent to karigars and outside processes are the hardest thing to control. Issue, receipt, wastage allowance and ageing need to be tracked per lot, per party, per process.
Making charges and metal rates change daily
Jewellery pricing depends on live metal rates, purity, wastage and labour that vary per design and per customer. A generic pricing engine cannot express it.
Certification and hallmarking add a compliance chain
GIA and IGI certificates, HUID hallmarking and RJC responsible-sourcing evidence all have to attach to the right stone or piece and stay attached through sale.
